::About the EEWW

The EPA Environmental Education Web sites make quality environmental education materials more accessible to Kids, Middle School Students, High School Students and Teachers. The EPA's Environmental Education Web Workgroup (EEWW) evaluates sites to determine whether they are appropriate to be included as links on EPA's environmental education portal pages.

EEWW members include EE coordinators and Web designers from various EPA regions and headquarters. Our is to make Web-based EE materials more accessible as well as educationally and technologically sound.

Linking Criteria

EPA's linking criteria are used to determine whether proposed sites may be included in any of the portal sites. Site will not be selected if they:

• Promote commercial activities
• Promote political organizations
• Engage in advocacy
• Are not fact based and neutral
